Marymount are a world-class provider of specialist palliative care & support

Who Are They?

Marymount University Hospital & Hospice (Marymount) provides specialist palliative care services and services to care for dependent older people.

What Did I Do?

Enid from Marymount contacted me as she was looking for me to design a fundraiser pack for the Fundraising & Marketing Department at Marymount. This was to include: Booklets, Business Cards, Factsheets, Posters, Leaflets all encapsulated in a branded Document folder. All designs use their existing logo, colours and fonts in order to carry across their strong brand.

Note: All branding provided by Marymount.

Marymount raise in excess of €3 million each year through fundraising initiatives

How Did I Do It?

  1. Research: Client briefing, mood-boarding, competitor analysis, target audience research, brand exploration, medium-specific research, accessibility and trend analysis.
  2. Objectives:
    1. Maintain & support Marymount’s strong recognition.
    2. Communicate Marymount’s key values and personality.
    3. Facilitate Marymount’s marketing & fundraising.
    4. Make all deliverables adaptable for multiple platforms.
    5. Create emotional connections and spread Marymount’s positive message.
  3. Prototype: Moodboard and Sketching.
  4. Design: Adobe Illustrator & InDesign.
  5. Delivery: The project was completed within 6 weeks over multiple drafts. The client received a handover session with presentation to go through the design decision making of each deliverable.

A consistently certified excellent place to work in recent years

Conclusion:

Upon reflection, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the journey from concept to completion. Crafting visuals that capture the essence of the brand and translate ideas into a compelling narrative has been both a creative challenge and a fulfilling experience. Every detail, from the initial sketches to the final polished designs, was approached with precision and dedication.
